Welcome to #30DaysofTangerine! Congrats on making this incredible commitment to your health and yourself. We are so excited to have you!
For those of you who I haven't met, I'm Emily (hi!) and I'll be your guide for the challenge. My intention is provide you with the tools and the support you need to kick off 2016 with energy, focus, and FUN so that you can have the best year yet! As a yoga teacher and health coach, I'm passionate about helping people manage stress, gain energy, and feel their absolute best through no-fuss diet and lifestyle changes, and I'm excited to share some of my best tips, tricks, and recipes with you.
This is your official welcome email! Please set aside some time (maybe over this holiday week!) to read this email in it's entirety as it contains all the *must-know* details on the challenge, including important schedule items and pre-challenge play!
Ready to get started? Here we go!
1. Purchase your monthly unlimited package - If you haven’t already, login to Mindbody and purchase your 1-month unlimited of yoga online at Mindbody {it’s already discounted for you until January 2nd - score!}. This one-month unlimited will begin on January 4th and end February 3rd. If you plan to purchase a 6-month auto-renew contract, please just email Gretchen at gretchen@thpyoga.com when you do so, and she’ll adjust your payment schedule.
2. Mark your calendar for our kick off on Jan 3rd - We'll meet at the studio from 4:30-5PM to meet each other, set intentions for the challenge, and get the good vibes flowing! Bonus: Come to Elena Brower's workshop from 2-4PM. I'll be there and hope you all will join - she's seriously amazing and the perfect way to kick off the challenge and the new year! 3. Save the date for our celebration - At Tangerine we love yoga, but we also love a good party! Save the date for our end-of-challenge get together on Wednesday, February 10th where we'll celebrate our successes and reflect on the greatness of the month.
4. Pre-challenge play!
Start your day with water - I would like you to begin incorporating one thing into your daily routine: start each day with a giant glass of water. If you’ve heard this before, it’s okay, likely you need the reminder (I know I need the reminder!!). Staying hydrated is SO important especially when we practice in the heat. You can place it on your nightstand the night before or get it in the morning, whatever you need to do to make sure you have it. I would also recommend a squeeze of lemon and/or some fresh herbs (mint is so refreshing!).
Set your intention - Intention is a powerful thing - it helps us create our reality by providing our subconscious with a road map to where we want to go. Ask yourself - Why am I doing this challenge? Are you looking to find more calm? Gain strength? Build community? Respond to this email with your personal intention.
