Mornin' <<First Name>>,
Besides drinking a GIANT glass of water first thing in the AM, one of my favorite ways to hydrate is with smoothies! Smoothies are a great way to pack in protein, greens, and healthy fats in a portable, sippable meal.
This smoothie is one of my all time favorites - I have it at least twice a week! If you follow me on Instagram, you know this is true ;)
Blueberry Buzz Smoothie // raw, vegan, gluten free, refined sugar free
Ingredients:
- 1 cup 2-Minute Almond Milk (or any unsweetened non-dairy milk or water)
- 1 scoop protein powder of choice
- 1/2 cup frozen blueberries
- LARGE handful of greens (kale, spinach, even spirulina, whatever you got!)
- 1/2-1 tsp maca (superfood great for boosting energy!)
- 1 dash cinnamon
- 1/2 inch knob of fresh ginger, peeled (this is my secret to the BEST smoothies)
- dash high quality sea salt
- 1 tsp bee pollen (optional)
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to your high speed blender and blend until smooth! I like to top with more bee pollen and cinnamon.
[Huh?What's bee pollen? Head here for the download on some of my favorite superfoods!]

Have you ever had ginger in a smoothie? Seriously, this is my favorite thing to add for great flavor - it's slightly spicy, slightly sweet and GREAT for your digestion and energy. Try it and let me know what you think!
Enjoy!
Emily
