Mornin’ <<First Name>> and Welcome to WEEK 3 of #30daysoftangerine!
Today I’d like you to revisit your intention. Yup, go back to that piece of paper or notebook or email and check in - What were you looking to get out of the challenge? How did you want to feel? And what were those things you would do when you felt that way?
Now ask yourself - how am I doing? What’s between me and that feeling? What am I waiting on to get there? (You can write down your answers - it often helps clarify them)
Chances are there’s a whole list of “things” that came up (some for me are: I need more time, fewer other commitments, warmer weather… :) ) Often times we hold ourselves back because we think we need to wait for the “perfect” moment - the right time/place/person/circumstances - in order to do what we want to do and feel the way we want to feel.
What are you waiting for? The truth is: there is no perfect moment. If you wait for perfect, you’ll just keep waiting forever. So how about NOW? Do that thing you want to do, make that change, FEEL that feeling right in this moment. Be that person who orders the salad when everyone else is having pizza, hustle to get your work done so you can make it to yoga, try hopping up into handstand.
