Hi <<First Name>>,
Three weeks down! That's 21 days of yoga - WOW!!
You've probably heard that 21 days makes a habit. The great thing about positive habits is that we never have to put them on our to-do lists, they become part of us and we do them almost automatically (kind of like brushing your teeth).
Without getting into too many scientific details, I want to highlight that all this yoga is actually creating new pathways between your brain and your body. You've may have started to notice this already: the more often you make it to your mat, the easier it is to keep going.
Let's differentiate the "getting to the mat" from the practice itself. Ask yourself, is the act of getting to the mat becoming easier? The "on the mat" practice will always bring new challenges {and honestly that's part of what keeps us coming back, right?} but by now I'm sure that making space for your practice is becoming part of your daily routine.
And if not, donโt worry, just keep coming back to the mat. Again and again and again. Remember, this is not a crash diet or 30-day detox, we are {scientifically!} building healthy habits that will last for a lifetime.
In the words of another incredible Tangerine teacher:
I love you, keep going.
Emily
PS. We're in the final stretch, rockstars! Save the date for our end of challenge celebration: February 10th from 6-9PM at ICI in Fort Green.
