How are you feeling today <<First Name>>?
Let's take a moment to check in: Find yourself in a comfortable seat. Place one hand on your belly, one had on your heart, and begin to breathe deeply into your hands. Feel your chest rise and fall, your rib cage expand and contract.
Ask yourself (yes, really talk to yourself!): How are you feeling today?
Notice what comes up - a physical sensation, a little inner voice, or maybe nothing. Allow yourself a few moments to pause, to listen, and to check in. Close your eyes, breathe.
This practice of checking is a crucial part of any self-care practice, and so important for us to keep moving forward. When we check in, not only can we recognize and appreciate the progress we've made and the strength we've built, but we can also identify where we need additional work, additional support.
