Dearest Community -

I'm deeply saddened and outraged over the deaths of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery amongst many others.  I have been spending the last week looking at myself in the mirror and what I saw was someone that was color blind- that wants everyone to be treated equally.  I have now learned what a huge mistake that has been. 

I feel honored to be able to learn about systematic racism and the truth about Black History; not the bullshit that was taught to me.  I am grateful that I can now protest and start to make a difference for BIPOC.

We will be donating 20% of the proceeds for the month of June to theconsciouskid.org which is an education, research and policy organization that I have fallen in love with.  They are dedicated to reducing bias and promoting positive identity in youth. 

I am committed to having uncomfortable conversations with my team and listening to what changes LONG TERM need to be made within the Tangerine community.
