Restorative Yoga is meant to soothe your nervous system and create the conditions for deep relaxation. Learn how to work with stress and meditation in an accessible and supported environment. Pranayama (breathing technique) is included each week to balance and harmonize your body and mind.
Expect some gentle movement and a strong emphasis on reclined, supported postures. These special shapes are held for several minutes to give your body space and time to relax. In addition to a provided playlist, there will be meditation and silent space for decompression. This class is inspired by the work of Judith Lasater and Jillian Pransky, as well as the magic of Katonah Yoga®.
