Interested in no frills yoga? A class where you can find strength and build flexibility based in traditional roots one deep breath at a time.
Power Essentials is a classic yoga class - if you've practiced Ashtanga, Bikram, Iyengar, you will recognize it.
Liam says "I am not here to teach something new, but instead share what I have studied and teach something timeless."
In this class a deep and rhythmic breath is practiced, moving in sync with movement. The asanas or postures can be vigorous, but should never feel strenuous. The room is heated, the practice will be sweaty and challenging, but the intention is always deep breathing and relaxation.
Class starts with Sun A and Sun B salutations to warm-up the spine, followed by the standing series, which prepares the body to come to the floor. Next is spine strengthening and backwards bends. From there, class will wind down with forward bends, gentle spinal twists and restorative postures!

Following the same format as our 60 minute class, this extended class allows more time for lateral and vertical splits, as well as a longer standing series plus more restorative postures.
Modifications are available and all levels are welcome!
