SRLP is a New York based organization dedicated to guaranteeing that all people are free to determine their gender identity and expression, regardless of income or race, and without facing harassment, discrimination, or violence. SRLP seeks to increase the political voice and visibility of low-income people and people of color who are transgender, intersex, or gender non-conforming. They work to improve access to respectful and affirming social, health, and legal services.

-The Survival & Self Determination Project is aimed at helping low-income transgender, gender non-conforming, and intersex (TGNCI) people and TGNCI people of color access critical services and benefits needed for gender self-determination. They help with name changes, healthcare, updating official documents, and more.
-The Immigrant Justice Project works with low-income people and people of color who are TGNCI and seeking legally recognized immigration status as well as holistic support in public benefits.
-The Prisoner Justice Project provides assistance in civil matters to people in New York City Jails and New York State Prisons. They aid with name changes for incarcerated individuals, obtaining personal needs and appropriate undergarments, as well as assistance with housing and so much more.
