New Class: Prenatal Yoga w/ Jessica
|
|
|
We're excited to welcome Jessica Apfel to Tangerine as
she brings her nurturing approach to a new
Prenatal
Yoga class on Saturdays at 3pm - created
especially for expecting parents looking to
move, connect, and find community during pregnancy.
This class is an opportunity to cultivate an awareness with your
pregnant mind and body as well as find connection with your
baby. We will build strength and stamina through a vinyasa flow, explore pelvic
mobility with gentle movement, release and relax any tension
that can be held in the pregnant body, and practice pregnancy
safe pranayama (breathwork).
This 75 minute class includes:
▪️ Community Check-in & Guided Meditation
▪️ Chest Openers, Gentle Twists & Vinyasa Flow
▪️ Pelvic Mobility, Hip Releases & Pregnancy-Safe Pranayama

Meet Jessica Apfel
|
|
|
|
|
|
With certifications in prenatal, postnatal, trauma-informed,
therapeutic, and vinyasa yoga, Jessica Apfel believes
yoga is more
than just a physical practice. It's a holistic approach to
nurturing and finding agency in the body, mind, and spirit. Her
teachings are rooted in inclusivity, mindfulness, and
trauma-sensitive practices, ensuring that everyone feels supported,
and empowered in their journey.
Along with her teaching practice, Jessica is a practicing
doula
and has a passion for supporting women through pregnancy, birth,
and postpartum - all of which informs her calming and grounding
style of instruction.
Special thanks to Abigail for introducing Jessica to Tangerine, as well as to Laura and Ian, Tangerine's owners. Jessica was their doula for baby Cillian!
