Strong + slow flow with Jessica is an all-levels Katonah Yoga® inspired class that sets up each pose with precision to develop strength, stamina, and the building blocks of key poses.
You may be asking - what exactly is Katonah Yoga®?
Katonah Yoga®, created by yogi Nevine Michaan, is rooted in Hatha yoga with Taoist theory, sacred geometry, mythology, and metaphor to help frame the body and its practice. Katonah Yoga® is a practice of organizing the body for better fit, function, and fluidity.
In strong + slow flow class starts slow, but don't let that deceive you - if challenge is what you like, this class will not disappoint you. After the poses have been set with measure, you'll move into a flow portion of class. To cap it off, you'll always end in at least one regenerative pose. You'll leave invigorated and grounded with greater body and mind integration.
