Bon Voyage! Liz OOO Soon
This time next week, Liz will be taking off for a well deserved 3 weeks away! With Liz regularly on Tangerine’s schedule 4 days a week, there will be a lot of teachers stepping in to cover classes. Try taking class with the whole crew, and thank you to Indigo, Emily, Chloe, Hannah, Ariel, Matty, Willow, Christina, Jake, and Dee for teaching over the next few weeks! Liz will be back at the studio on March 10.
Thoughts from our teaching assistant Cissy on Tangerine Teacher Training
“I had been thinking about yoga teacher training for a long time, so when I saw that the studio I go to most was offering one with teachers I trust and deeply respect, I was genuinely excited. The cohort is diverse, and I love knowing that we all joined for different reasons. There is also no pressure to become a teacher afterward, which makes the experience feel open and honest.
This program has given me space to listen, observe, and better understand my own style, one that is soft, creative, and shaped by learning from people I admire. I have always wanted to live with curiosity instead of control, and this training reflects that. It is not about pushing or perfecting, or forcing the body to meet an expectation set by the mind. It is about creating space to notice what is already there.
Yoga feels like a vast, living forest that is always changing. This teacher training did not give me a map, but a small compass, and the courage to reach for other explorers’ hands as we move through it together.
Sincerely,
Cissy”
