tangerine yoga 200 hour teacher training

Our 200hr Yoga Teacher Training program educates and inspires the next generation of yoga teachers. Whether you dream of leading a class of your own or just want to learn more about your personal practice, our program allows curious students to deepen their practice, build community, and find a greater sense of confidence through developing their voice, knowledge and skill. Led by Liz Migliaccio, Alyssa Magsano and other Tangerine Senior Teachers this program dives deep into asana (poses), pranayama (breath work) philosophy, anatomy, meditation and so much more!

Application Deadline: August 1st, 2024 

Training will take place over 11 weeks, including a weekend retreat in Upstate NY, included in the price of tuition. 

Our program works on a hybrid model: Tuesday & Thursday evenings via Zoom, Saturday & Sunday in person, and some Friday’s (9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8), to accommodate even people with the busiest schedules. 

A full, unlimited membership is included in the tuition price during the time of training. 

What’s Included in our program: 
> in depth asana (poses) training & posture clinics
> yoga history & philosophy
> meditation & pranayama (breath work)
> anatomy
> the art of sequencing
> finding your voice through dharma (stories) & improv
> various workshops including: arm balances, backbending & yin
> hands on adjustments
> the business of yoga
> social awareness and ethics in the wellness space
> introduction to: yoga for anxiety, yoga therapy, yoga nidra, trauma informed yoga, ayurveda, chakras, prenatal yoga and sound therapy

Dates and Times:
September 3rd – November 17th
Tuesday’s & Thursday’s: 7pm-9pm (virtual)
Saturday’s & Sunday’s: 1:30pm-5:30pm (in studio)
Some Friday’s: 6pm-8pm (hybrid) (9/27, 10/11, 10/25, 11/1, 11/8)

Pricing:
Early Bird > $3,900 (apply by May 1, 2024)
Regular > $4,200
Full Payment due by September 1st, 2024

*Full and partial (50%) BIPOC scholarships available. Scholarship application deadline is July 1, 2024. Scholarships will be awarded July 15, 2024. Fill out a scholarship questionnaire to apply
*$500 deposit due upon application, deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable upon acceptance into program
*$500 deposits made with applications for BIPOC scholarship will be refunded if awarded full scholarship and/or if not selected for a scholarship placement. If partial scholarship is awarded, deposit will be put towards final payment upon acceptance into program
